The Beach Boppers of Orlando is a not-for-profit organization founded in April 1986 by a group of enthusiastic dancers who enjoy “beach” type music.
BBOO is not a singles club. We have both married and single members of all ages. However, many couples met at our club functions.
Beach Music includes some early classic rock-n-roll, but is essentially rhythm and blues or soul music. Our music is enjoyed by those dancing bop, shag, swing. The dances vary, but the music is the same.
Boogie Beat is the name of our monthly newsletter published to keep our members posted of happenings with fellow members and includes a list of upcoming events both locally and across the nation from other similar clubs.
Special Events Elsewhere – We attend special weekend and multi-day parties all over the country. Some favorites are located in Tampa, Miami, Panama City, plus out-of-state parties in North Myrtle Beach, NC, Memphis, TN and Augusta, GA to name just a few.
Annual Events include a summer BBQ, a Christmas Party, and our Orange Squeeze.
